Maui. The quiet here. The overwhelming accessibility to God’s creative masterpieces is so … beyond my realm of description.
The breezes are actually delicious. The rustling of trees so envigorating and refreshing – calming.
The roosters crowing (… and crowing, and crowing!!) They are hysterical to me. Very entertaining bunch. They make me smile.

Rest, true rest for me is not the absence of movement. Nor inertia. Rest is not exhaustion.
Rest is a respite – an entering into the presence of a Higher Power and allowing it to replenish and renew my mind, body, soul, and Spirit.
God, as I understand God to be, expresses itself in the power of my breath, my beating heart.
Seeing myself as separate from God is an illusion. My Higher Power is the keeper of my life.
There is “no thing” to win, anymore than there is anything to “lose.”
